Almost all of the music that makes its way into the Bull City inbox comes directly from the artist or the producers of an artist. This time the music request came from fans of Praverb. Interestingly enough I was already pretty familiar with Praverb’s music as we follow each other on twitter. Every time he puts something out I marvel at his style and instrumental selections. He’s risky with his samples and I like it. So I decided that with fan persuasion it was time to let loose Fredricksburg’s best kept secret.
Here is what we know about him. His real name is Patrick. (I know because I follow on twitter). He was born in Charleston, South Carolina and now resides in Fredricksburg, Virginia. He has been in the rap game for about 12 years and is starting to get a lot of love from people who are recognizing what he is lyrically capable of.
His style is unique it doesn’t remind me of anyone in particular which is a great thing. A style all his own makes me want to listen more as he puts out more and more music. He sounds like a well educated, grounded, humble, family man when you listen to his verses. He doesn’t talk about things that aren’t passionate because he supports his bars with essence and real flavor.
